Situated in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, CA, Granada is an independent public school that seeks to create lifelong learners and productive citizens of its student body. Since its conversion to charter in 2003, the school has seen its API score increase 117 points to 878. We're proud to represent our community through our commitment to excellence. 2013 Locker Clearout
Seniors must have their books turned in no later than Friday, May 24. Students in grade 9–11, you must have your lockers cleared out no later than Friday, June 7. It is your responsibility to remove all your belongings. EACH TEXTBOOK left inside the lockers will receive a $20 LATE CHARGE. All other items will be donated.
Additional Graduation Tickets Available for Purchase!
Granada Hills Charter High School is offering extra seats to our Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, May 30, 7:00 PM. Tickets are $25.00 each and must be purchased with cash at the Student Store. (Tickets are sold on a first come-first served basis.) ALL PROCEEDS FROM TICKET SALES SUPPORT Associated Student Body and Graduation Ceremony expenses. GHCHS Selected For Prestigious Honor Roll -- 2nd Consecutive Year
Granada Hills Charter was once again recognized by the California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) as a 2012 Honor Roll school. Schools receiving this distinction from the California business community have demonstrated consistent high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time and reduction in achievement gaps among student populations. For High Schools, the Honor Roll recognition also includes measures of college readiness. Congratulations Granada!
Open Enrollment (OE) & School for Advanced Studies (SAS) Lottery Results Posted On Campus
The OE and SAS lists have been posted and are available for viewing. You or someone you trust would need to come by the school and check the lists in person as we are not able to provide any information over the phone or via email. There is a list posted at the main entrance where visitors sign in, as well as near the Attendance Office.
