Grab and Go Free Meals at GHC

Beginning May 27, free meals will be distributed from 7 - 11 a.m. to students, community youth and children Monday - Friday. Food to not be consumed onsite. Breakfast and Lunch served together. Distribution to occur on Kingsbury Street.

Northridge Teen Happy to Feed the “Heroes”

The Granada Hills Charter High School sophomore who, like many other teens has been idled by the coronavirus pandemic, was interested in providing meals for medical workers in the San Fernando Valley. And, with the support of friends and a couple of businesses, he’s been able to do just that.

Governor Newsom Issues Executive Order Empowering Schools to Focus on COVID-19 Response and Transparency

Local educational agencies, including school districts, will publish a written report to their communities that explains how they have responded to COVID-19, including steps they have taken to deliver distance learning and meet the needs of disadvantaged students. The order extends the deadlines for completing annual planning processes to enable local educational agencies to prioritize more exigent needs. Read the full press release below.
