It is vital that you come to campus only during your assigned time and date so we can adhere to the appropriate safety measures. If you come at a different time other than your assigned time, you will not be able to receive your items or have your photo taken. If you cannot make your time window, you can email jsheridan@ghctk12.com.

What will I receive when I arrive on campus?

You will receive your cap and gown, cords, and a special Class of 2021 surprise gift. Every senior will receive one lawn sign to proudly display at their home.

How will the senior portraits work?

Once you receive your commemorative senior items through our drive-through distribution in your car, you will put on your cap and gown. Please be prepared to have your photograph taken by adjusting your hair and make-up, if needed, in advance. We must adhere to a tight schedule to ensure every senior has a chance to have their picture taken in the safest manner possible. You must remain socially distanced from other people when you exit your car to have your picture taken and wear a facial covering over your nose and mouth until you are in front of the camera. The number of people inside the building is limited so you will be instructed to wait in your car until it is your turn.

Can I drive myself to campus? What if I do not have access to a vehicle?

No, you may not drive yourself to campus since parking will not be available. Someone must drive you and wait in the car while you have your photograph taken. If you do not have access to a car, please email jsheridan@ghctk12.com to make alternate arrangements.

Do we pay for the cap and gown?

If you want to keep your cap and gown as a keepsake, then you must pay for the cap and gown. Otherwise, the cap and gown is loaned to you and you return it to the School after graduation .

Do we pay for anything else?

No, the School is paying for your other commemorative items including one free 8X10 print of your senior portrait that you will receive after graduation when you pick up your diploma and return your cap and gown, if you are borrowing it. We hope you enjoy your cozy Class of 2021 surprise gift!

Do we keep the club and academic cords?

Yes, your club purchased the cords on your behalf and the School purchased the academic cords so if you receive any cords, those are yours to keep.

What if I already took my senior portraits, do I have to take them again?

Yes, we prefer that you take your senior portrait to create a unified theme for the entire Class of 2021. We are producing a professional film for the virtual commencement ceremony and having the same photo background for all the senior portraits will look elegant. Plus, you will get a FREE 8X10 of your portrait as an additional keepsake.
