Athletics

Granada Hills Charter High School Athletics will provide a positive student centered environment in which student athletes will participate in organized team sports which emphasize a commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as the athletes' particular sport. GHCHS Athletics will provide student athletes with life-long lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, ethical behavior, perseverance, commitment, loyalty, self-discipline, accomplishment, cooperation, healthy living, responsibility, and leadership skills.

Any athlete wishing to try out for a Granada Hills Charter sports team will be required to submit a physical from their doctor. Athletes who competed last year should check the expiration date of their physical. We highly recommend making appointments; it is best to make an appointment well in advance of the previous physical expiring. Physical exam forms should be turned into the health office a minimum of 48 hours before tryouts for any sport. Please contact your coach for more information.
