Free T-Mobile HotSpots

The Granada Hills Charter High School at-home internet access program is designed to give wireless access at home to students without reliable access. Students have the opportunity to check out a T-Mobile Hotspot that provides internet speeds comparable to a fast smartphone. The connection is adequate for homework, research, and other school related activities. All students are eligible for the program.

These T-Mobile hotspots are configured to only work with a student's GHCHS issued Chromebook. Students simply plug the device into a standard power outlet and have access to the internet within a few minutes. GHCHS covers the initial cost of the equipment. The internet service is $10 per month, and some families may qualify for a cost waiver based on income.

To participate, student and their families complete a short agreement and check out the device from the GHCHS Chromebook Support Center.
